ignite failed on hpux 11.00

Hi,

I am trying to create a recovery tape with ignite-ux.
The original software worked fine. Hardware is a l2000 system. While trying to restore it on a rp7410 however, recovery failed (obviously the tape booted but the hardware path was not found afterwards).
Anyway, I upgraded ignite on the l2000/hpux11.00 system to 6.1.44.
After this it asked me to apply patch PHCO_30150, and seemed to be ok then.
Now, the make_tape_recovery command fails at lif setup on the tape with following message :
make_medialif: error - /opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.00/WINSTALL does not exist, is.
ERROR: System Error, /opt/ignite/bin/make_medialif failed creating boot LIF
file.
ERROR: Failed to generate LIF on tape .

I tryied checking the file "/opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.00/WINSTALL" but there is no "/opt/ignite/boot/Rel_B.11.00" directory !
Obviously, I am missing files somewhere.

My original command was :
make_tape_recovery -A -a /dev/rmt/1mn
(tape is a DDS3 drive, and I use the non-rewind device as required by ignite).

Is there a way I can get the missing file ?

HI Ahmed,

Remove the ignite software, download and install the "all versions" ignite version from software.hp.com. (11.0 + 11.11)

Thanks for your quick answer.
I finally downloaded ignite for all versions of hp ux, but now /opt is far too small.
I am going to increase /opt but need to wait tonight for this operation.
I assume that this is the right solution, and will write back as soon as operations are finished.

Resizing /opt and installing the whole ignite package (I unselected versions above 11.11) worked and make_tape_recovery ran ok this time.

I'll "try" to restore this tape on a rp7410 system, but we were told hpux 11.00 had several problems on rp7410, so I'm unsure about the results.
I anyway may open another thread then.

installing ignite ux from scratch with the whole (~250Mb) package solved the issue.
