ignite image
I have server which is 9000/800/L1000-44 model and runs HPUX 11:00 . I have to taken an ignite image of that - my ignite server is 11.23 and has all latest ignite products which is an itanium server. Still is it possible for me to take a ignite imgae of the server which runs 11.00
Thank You

Re: ignite image
Your ignite server should have higher version of ignite-ux than the client.
And it will be possible .
- Also make sure you have the ignte-ux client software installed on 11.23: The description should be similar to this:
"HP-UX Installation Utilities for Installing 11.00 Systems "
#check with swlist | grep -i ignite

Re: ignite image
What ignite version you are running on ignite server , new version of ignite do not have support for 11.00 , it only includes 11.11,11.23 and 11.31 .If you have old version of ignite running on you ignite server it is possible.

Re: ignite image
Upgrading the Ignite version for ignite client 11.00) and same as the Ignite Server 11.23 - shouldn't be problem in perfroming ignite backup.
