Re: ignite installation issue

Hi

Please have alook at the following thread, this shall be helpful.

1) check system firmware, upgrade if old.
2) You are telling IGnite Media, what is that ? use HP-UX Core OS and Install Media
3) What is the Drive That you are using, are yiu using a USB Drive CDROM?
4) Try assigning the Laptops CDROM , connecting to the server as Virtual Media From The Blade Enclosure ILO.

Re: ignite installation issue

Shalom,

It does appear that the source of the Ignite backup is not this machine.

Ignite has several functions for replicating machines. The least hardware dependent is Golden Image.

Taking a make_net_recovery from say ans rx3600 and laying it down on this system is likely to cause this problem due to hardware differences.

So please add a little information:

OS version
Ignite version
Source of the backup
