ignite issue

This DVD worked on one rp3440 then on the next one I get an error:

*Processed 90% of archive
cat: read error: No such file or directory
*Completed 99% of archive

gunzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
pax_iux: Ready for volume 2
pax_iux: Type "go" when ready to proceed ( or "quit" to abort):

Got any ideas??

Re: ignite issue

Could be a HW issue.

Try to swap the DVD drive with the known good one.

Re: ignite issue

It is internal to the machine.

Re: ignite issue

Something like this is, read error indicated by the "unexpected end of file", is either a bad disk or bad drive.

If you can get this DVD to work successfully on other systems then maybe burn another copy and try again if that fails then I would look at replacing the DVD drive. Not many other options here.
