Re: ignite server

Himacs,

Try to make sure version of ignite is the same on server and client before starting. And also NFS_SERVER is allowed on ignite server.

On ignite server:

mkdir /var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/
share -F nfs -o anon=2,root= /var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/

On client:

/opt/ignite/bin/make_net_recovery -s -v -x inc_entire=vg00

This will create a recovery archive, including all of vg00 only

regards,

Richard

Re: ignite server

Shalom,

Ignite server is supposed to store the images and permit Ignite clients to boot.

Best way to go to make the images is to build the script into a cron job on the client you want to back up.

make_net_recovery can write an image to an NFS server which should be the Ignite server.
