Johnson's first link is where I would start. Note: Vpar igniting is not performed from an ignite server even though you create ignite recovery images. When you clone a vpar its done from the first vpar in the npar. And recovery is therefore the same, always cloned from the first vpar in the npar.
If you are using multiple versions of the O/S, you probably want to keep all 11.23 on the same Npar, and not mix within an npar.
Research this though. Alot has changed recently.
