Re: indifferent fcmsutil output

Sachin,

Do you see any messsages regarding your Fibre in your syslog?
After you've run the ioscan -fn;insf -e commands please try again.
# fcmsutil /dev/fcd0
# fcmsutil /dev/fcd1
# fcmsutil /dev/fcd2
# fcmsutil /dev/fcd3

Also check with swlist if you've the correct driver software installed for the FC.
Can you also check with cstm if you see any problems, regarding your FC.
# cstm
cstm> map all
cstm> sel dev ;info
cstm> il

Try tdutil instead of fcmsutil.

Re: indifferent fcmsutil output

Bonjour,

Is your HP-UX box supported with this card ? Check "Fibre channel adapters
specifications" at http://www.hp.com/products1/serverconnectivity/storagesnf2/adapter15/specifications/index.html

You should also upgrade to latest revision of "FibrChanl-01". What about "swlist FibrChanl-01". Latest is "B.11.23.08.02".

Finally you could also have to upgrade FC cards themselves.

You will find Driver and Firmware at : http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=331475&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=331473&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=7

Hope this will help

Re: indifferent fcmsutil output

Hi,

Can you please verify if you have the latest recommended fcms patch (PHKL_33827) or Latest PHKL_36143.

And also look for the latest software for your FC: http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=A6826A
