installing Openssl
Hello,
I'm wanting to install WBEMSvcs A.02.07.06, but it wants OpenSSL_A.00.09.08l.001 as a prerequisite. Could the installation of OpenSSL have any effect on our HP Secure Shell?
OpenSSL is a large download with many filesets, are there any issues I should be aware of as far as the effect on other areas of the system? Thanks,
Brian

Re: installing Openssl
Hi,
OpenSSL offers an advanced level of security using the SSL/TLS protocols. Client-server applications that send and receive data over a network are open to a range of vulnerabilities. They can use SSL/TLS to implement privacy (through encryption), tamper-proofing (through message digests) and non-repudiation (through certificates and digital signatures).
Regards,
Durvesh

Re: installing Openssl
Thanks for the replies, I was mostly concerned about breaking HP Secure Shell.
