ioscan hang on hp-ux 11.31
Dear gurus,
My system was hang when I executed #ioscan -fnC disk to check for new assigned disk. But when I ran #ioscan -knfC disk, I can see the disk. Legacy mode is enables as output below:
#insf -v -L
insf: Legacy mode is enabled.

if this command hangs up, it indicates heavy load in system at that time but sometime it indicates that your disk or one of your disk has problem.

Since when it is hanging,
- Are there any recent changes on the server done?
- have you added any additional drives or cards etc.
- Check your scsi termination is set right , if there is any scsi tape drive connected to it.
- what storage frame connected to the server, is it compatible with 11iv3.
