issue with luns on 11.31

I have itanium server with HP 11.31 running.

We have clarion as storage. in the syslog i am frequently getting the errors

I have checked everything and every thing is fine from storage end

Maybe - but no patch on the HP-UX box for this...

Is your Clariion on at least FLARE 26?

Earlier releases do not support 11.31.

Also make sure that your 11.31 LUNs have the failover mode set to 4 (ALUA) on the Clariion.

Basically I'd advise you to get hold of an up-to-date copy of the EMC HP-UX connectivity guide and have a good read on the 11.31 specific sections.
