kcusage shows maxfiles_lim Usage is 702.5%
kcusage shows maxfiles_lim Usage is 702.5%
Hi,
In our DB Server kcusage output for maxfiles_lim is showing always more than 100%.
Server model is rx6600 and the OS is HPUX 11.23.
Server is in two node cluster with ServiceGurad + ORACLE RAC.One db instance is running on both the servers.
2ND SERVER kcusage showing maxfiles_lim always less than 100%.
The first server (ORACLE Instance) went down last week with the following error
"gxgncin: CLSS init failed with status 3
kjfmsgr: unable to connect to NM for reg in shared group"
and we are getting always the following error in db alert log
"Ioctl ASYNC_CONFIG error, errno = 11".
There is any relation with maxfiles_lim Usage more than 100% with above errors.

I assume maxfiles_lim is the same on both systems? What is its value?

maxfiles_lim is same on both systems and the value given is 4096
