Can i use Floppy drive as any emergency boot if YES , Kindly send me a path to download and prepare emergency disk for booting purpose

Why? If that fails, I'm not sure a floppy would work, especially since the floppy is just too small now days.

Yes, that's way too big (10 X) for maxssiz.

If you can't get to the MP, how are you booting at all? You can't get to the ISL prompt?

Yeah after boot with vmunix system message "System is ready" and then above INIT error started.

But i tried to connect through hyper terminal with serial cable i am unable to get MP console.

Neither i can ping nor login root or MP.


Any other solution will be appreciated.

Note:

Bottom display shows REMOTE MODE / DISPLAY FUNCTIONS / AUTO LF . tried function keys f4 , ctrl-b etc....... no response

You need to interrupt the boot sequence so you can tell it to boot the previous kernel. You should see some message saying you have 10 seconds to interrupt the boot.

You need to make sure these are back the way they were. There should at least be a "*" in Remote Mode.

Check man pages it will not valuable untill system respond to MP or ISL prompt.
