You haven't enabled secure boot have you?
Otherwise you will have to provide a log (or a movie) of what's happening on console.

Shalom,

My suggestion is that you merely boot your system off the old kernel.

Interrupt when prompted.

bo
Y To interact.
hpux /stand/vmunux.prev

The kernerl I am referrring to is the standard one that would have been backed up had you used sam to create this kernel.

You can also boot off OS media and go into the semi automated recovery shell.

Or you can in the above instructions:

hpux -is
# To boot to single user mode.

I find my early response puzzling, and I can not even remember this thread, I hope this response is somewhat more useful.

Re: kernel para change (mxssize,mxssize_64bit) INIT: Command is respawning

I promise that this error is coming because of some syntax error in /etc/inittab file.

Check for line in inittab.

id:cons "/usr/sbin/getty console console
id:cons "/usr/sam/lbin/stand
id.ems4:/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/p_client

Hi,

As i mentioned above.

> Iam unable to login via secure mode by disturbing in 10sec "NO message" of such kind appear during booting. May be due to kernel failed.

>Serial connectivity not establishing a blank screen appear already changed cables, But result is same as above.

Have you read the links I provided and have disconnected the disk drives, so you can disable secure boot?

Re: kernel para change (mxssize,mxssize_64bit) INIT: Command is respawning

Following steps is to stop boot up:
1. Remove/disable the hard disk drive.
2. Reboot system.
3. The system will prompt that it cannot find a boot device.
4. You may Press the Esc key.
5. In admin mode, you can disable "secure mode".
6.CO - SEC OFF.

>Now iam able to disturb in 10 SEC

And when i try to boot with /stand/vmunix.prev again kernel failed and above old INIT messages replying.

I have two SCSI disk how can i use alternate disk to boot the system in normal behavior and change the kernel parameter for normal behavior.

I highly appreciate Mr.Dennis recommendations for a genuine support among others.

Re: kernel para change (mxssize,mxssize_64bit) INIT: Command is respawning

When i try to boot with /stand/vmunix.prev again kernel failed and above old INIT messages appear.

Alternate SCSI problem solved with SEA(Search command).

After booting ISL from CDROM(CORE OS & RECOVERY MEDIA) unable to boot 800/700SUPPORT.
Error:Unable to find 800/700SUPPORT FILE.

Needed valuable input ............
