kernel throwing stape close error message

Following dmesg, kernel keep on throwing.. the server has connected many VLC tape drives.

stape_close: st_close_error

Is this know error? Is there any solution for it?

Hello,

Look like problem with stape device driver.

Please provide #ioscan -fnC tape o/p.

Also check scsi / Fiber card driver version

This patch has some fixes for clsoe error ,

But unfortunatly there is a critical warning patch issued on this patch by HP.
