lan card fails...

IF the stand by lan card fails on the cluster sever, will the heart beat lost is happen?
Please suggest me on this..

You usually have a dedicated primary, standby and HB LAN (3 NICs). So if the standby LAN fails everything else continue to work.

Stand by card is for "stand by" ..


It only be in action if the primary card go down.
