log files under /var/adm/syslog not getting updated
Hi
for some reason the files under /var/adm/syslog are not getting updated:
/var/adm/syslog #ls -lrt total 172368 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 344064 Dec 8 2015 OLDsyslog.log -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5054464 Sep 9 2016 syslog.log -r--r--r-- 1 root root 82829312 Sep 9 2016 mail.log
/usr/sbin/syslogd -D -v Syslogd: Already running.
I have try to restart syslog deamon, but it says its already running, I have seen other similar post but I have not being able to solve it. Please can someone help
