login question

Hi,
Trying to do an userid-a$ remsh servername -l userid-b
it works fine for otherid's except userid-b - any idea about the issue. Confirmed the .rhosts file on the login directory of userid-b.

Could you give more details ?
What error message did you get ?

Also you must know remsh/rlogin is not secure. You may want to use ssh instead.

the error is
rlogind[29169]: User account "userid" is disabled.

in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

by having the nix passwd fix - it started working - thanks to you all
