lvcreate error

 

During lvcrete we find the below error .

 

Error

app1#lvcreate -L 12288 -n oracle vg00
Logical volume "/dev/vg00/oracle" has been successfully created with
character device "/dev/vg00/roracle".
Logical volume "/dev/vg00/oracle" has been successfully extended.
vgcfgbackup: IO error on configuration file: No such file or directory

 

Please advice me why this above error comeing.

Check if /etc/lvmconf exists. Try a "vgcfgbackup" for vg00.

hi please find the below output
herdapp1#/usr/sbin/vgcfgbackup /dev/vg00
Volume Group configuration for /dev/vg00 has been saved in /etc/lvmconf/vg00.conf

Verify space in /etc/lvmconf

 

# bdf /etc/lvmconf
