mail problem

hi guys,

may i request for points/config to consider regarding my mailing problem.

there are a lot of mail queues that says a user's mailbox is full.

the only content of /var/spool/mail is a root file.

is this the mailbox being referred to?

why does other users don't have files under /var/spool/mail?

please advise.

Hi,
Check the rights of the dir /var/mail and /var/spool/mqueue and the suid and sgid bits of the sendmail executable.


-r-sr-sr-t 1 root mail 811008 Apr 10 2003 /usr/sbin/sendmail

try to check the permission in /var/spool/mqueque and /var/spool/mail

try making it readable and writable for all.
