***I have never used this command before***

I would like to make a note of the attachement here...

For using make_net_recovery see Ignite-UX documentation here - http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX/

First become familiar with the command and test some backups/restores.

So, you are still bounced back and forth whether to do a hard ware or software clone. But why not practice ignite a little since it might be helpful in the future and and it is not hard to understand it.
