memlogd not working

Hi Talents,

model:9000/800/rp3440
os version:HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/800 unlimited-user license.
Issue:memlogd process is not working.
We restarted diagnostic daemon, but still memlogd is not started.We followed below procedure...

Stop STM...
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
Remove the memlog file...
rm /var/stm/logs/os/memlog
Restart STM
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start.

Have you looked at /etc/rc.log or syslog.log for any error messages?
