Re: memory utilization

by swapinfo -a
also u can devide the used memory by the total memory and multiply by 100. :-)

What kind of processors? Use machinfo.

What changed? Using (all of) memory is a good thing. It can be used for caching.

Re: memory utilization

Hi,
Use glance or kmeminfo tool to monitor the memory utilization. 95% is not a healthy status at all. Of course the oracle processes are consuming more memory. See if any of the processes can be stopped for a while. Also, Check the swap memory in the system and configure extra swap if required to take off physical memory load.

Re: memory utilization

Hi CU,

Oracle is consuming more memory , If it is UNIX based OS check kernel parameter dbc_pct_max (default is 50).
