migrating oracle data base to hpux

Hi
I have a sun machine running oracle 9i .
I want migrate this database to a hpux machine .

My question
There is some tool to make this migration.

I know about doing an export .

there is some other way?

Some HP tool?

Shalom,

HP does not provide tools for migrating oracle databases from one platform to another. Procedures and tools are provided by Oracle. The place to check is:

http://metalink.oracle.com

The second site requires a support contract.

export-import is a valid way of doing this, but there are probably other migration procedures provided by Oracle as well.

For cross-platform migration, export and import is really the only way to do this.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
