migrating vpars to new data storage

I am migrating to a new storage device. I have an integrity superdome running 11.23. I am using drd clone to move the root disk. (drd clone, drd activate, vparefiutil -u) The npar has 8 vpars. I would like to migrate the vpars without having to take the npar down. Has anyone done this successfully?
