mirrior rootvg & other vg's

I am planning to mirrior root vg & others.. I have found this good docs here..

could you suggest me a way to implemet this.. so that I will not take an Ignite image and take a spare disk and mirrior this witha spare disk and implement when disks go bad doc.. as suggested by a guru here...

Bear in mind that the procedure for mirroring root VG (vg00) is different for PA-RISC and Integrity servers.

In most of the cases you don't need to mirror other vg (applications, databases) - this will cause you lot of resources (spare discs, SAN space).

Better use some backups for the rest of the data and mirror only boot/root VG.

If your server can do hardware mirrors - use them.
