Shalom,

The best thing to do is use the P400 technology built into the server and do hardware mirror. This takes the work off the CPU and is simple.

The next best thing is mirror/ux. It costs money to license, but provides very reliable, easy to implement software raid.

http://hpux.ws contains a couple of procedures in mirroring hard systems as well.
