moving boot disk

Hi ,

I have 2 system both IA 2600, running v3 , say System1 and System2.I halted both the systems and moved the boot disk from System2 to System1 .(I know as easier way would be to restore from ignite tape , but at the moment i have one) attached to System2.So , i want to boot System1 from System2 boot disk , so that when it boots up , it takes all the configuration of System2 , Please suggest how to do this form EFI or any other method.

Regards,

Re: moving boot disk

i placed the SAS boot disk from System2 in the same slot in which the boot disk was there in System1 , went to EFI shell , and gave reconnect -r , it does not show any boot path , so how to boot the System1 with System2 disk .

Re: moving boot disk

oki , i was in too hurry to open the thread , the soluiton is in EFI , map -r , fs0 , traverse to hpux.efi script in HPUX directory and run it , it will boot from the SystemB hard disk...will keep this open so that Gurus out there point to some good EFI doc.
