moving to CDE from command prompt screen

I have installed HP-UX OS, once it s completed it remains in command prompt screen.I need to move to CDE for my work to be done. so how to connect to CDE??
It says "Resuming Desktop login.."??
can anybody please provide me the solution for the above??

Let's start with just which HP-UX OS you installed.

Which version of HP-UX did you install? If it was 11iV3 (11.31), then CDE is not installed by default and that might be your problem.

i m using HP-UX 11i V2.If its not installed by default then how to install that CDE seperately?

With 11iV2, it is installed - so that is not the problem.

You're going to need to log in at the command prompt and look at the rc.log to see if something failed during boot-up.

can you please tell me under which directory..I an very new to this UX os installation.

The file is /etc/rc.log.
