mrtg on a hp-ux 11.11 system

Hi,
I want to run mrtg on a hp-ux 11.11 system.

1) I downloaded the following depots:
(From "http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/")
- bison-2.0-sd-11.11.depot
- libiconv-1.9.2-sd-11.11.depot
- db-4.2.52-sd-11.11.depot
- libpng-1.2.7-sd-11.11.depot
- flex-2.5.4a-sd-11.11.depot
- freetype-2.1.9-sd-11.11.depot
- mrtg-2.10.15-sd-11.11.depot
- gcc-3.4.3-sd-11.11.depot
- xpm-3.4k-sd-11.11.depot
- gd-2.0.32-sd-11.11.depot
- zlib-1.2.2-sd-11.11.depot
- jpeg-6b-sd-11.11.depot

2) Then I installed them, in this order:
- freetype-2.1.9-sd-11.11.depot
- gd-2.0.32-sd-11.11.depot
- jpeg-6b-sd-11.11.depot
- libiconv-1.9.2-sd-11.11.depot
- libpng-1.2.7-sd-11.11.depot
- xpm-3.4k-sd-11.11.depot
- zlib-1.2.2-sd-11.11.depot
- mrtg-2.10.15-sd-11.11.depot
- flex-2.5.4a-sd-11.11.depot
- bison-2.0-sd-11.11.depot
- gcc-3.4.3-sd-11.11.depot
- db-4.2.52-sd-11.11.depot

3) /usr/local/bin/cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /home/mrtg/cfg '\
--global 'Options[_]: bits,growright'\
--output /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg \
public@

4) /usr/local/bin/mrtg /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg

Then I get the error message's:
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /usr/local/lib/libfontconfig.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
ERROR: Skipping webupdates because rateup did not return anything sensible
WARNING: rateup died from Signal 6
with Exit Value 0 when doing router '_1'
Signal was 6, Returncode was 0

Strange - I don't have it either - but mrtg works for me...

I had installed: mrtg-2.10.13-sd-11.00.depot

Hi Geoff,
I installed also, but no result:
- m4-1.4.2-sd-11.11.depot
- gettext-0.14.1-sd-11.11.depot

I see three major differences in versions.
You installed:
- mrtg-2.10.13-sd-11.00.depot
- gd-2.0.23-sd-11.00.depot
- freetype-2.1.4-sd-11.00.depot

I installed:
- mrtg-2.10.15-sd-11.11.depot
- gd-2.0.32-sd-11.11.depot
- freetype-2.1.9-sd-11.11.depot

Can this be the problem?
Where can I download the versions you installed/used?

For me it is new to install a lot of extra software before you can use/install the product I need? (mrtg)

Hi,

I had to install also:
- expat-1.95.8-sd-11.11.depot
- fontconfig-2.2.98-sd-11.11.depot

After that al worked.

Now I will try to uninstall as many products as posible.....
