Hello All.
Actually i am planning to install redhat 5 under 8204-E8A (IBM Power 550 Express) server.
i am using this card type "8204-5774" with EVA 8000.
i need to find the multipathing software that can handle this structure.
anybody can help?.

almost all Linux comes with multipath-tools, but IBM recommends RDAC drivers for multipath
and performance issues.
if you want to use linux multipath-tools then, cd into the /etc/init.d directory here you will find a script 'multipathd' or 'multipath', all you have to do is start the script and make it auto start across the reboots, e.g
# /etc/init.d/multipathd start
# chkconfig multipathd on
