mwm menu

Hi,

I face the following problem :
I use mwm window manager. When I open a dtterm window, the window menu ( top left button ) displays only "Toggle Menu Bar" twice. I know the this is automatically added in the menu ( only once ), but where qre the remaining function, available for all other windows ( like Restore, Move, Size .....)
Do someone have an idea about this ?

My first thought is that the menu functions have been changed. Have you checked the local .mwmrc file for changes?

Hi Coriine,

if you happen to have a "$HOME/.mwmrc" look into that, else take "/usr/lib/X11/system.mwmrc".
In there look for "menu" paragraphs.
Maybe someone copied a line?
The "WindowMenu" choosen for an X-client is actually an X-resource, so look into your "$HOME/.Xdefaults" or the output of "xrdb -query" for lines containing "dtterm" or "windowMenu"...
