mwm script issue

When we run the following command as part of /sbin/init.d/mwm

nohup /usr/bin/X11/mwm -display :9 && exit 0

The command locks out the console or terminal you are using.I assume this is because the command does not go into the background as it is missing & after the nohup command.

If you add the & it then complains about the &&

Anyone sorted this out as this is how the script comes out of the box I believe !

Re: mwm script issue

Thanks for the reply

I assume the point of this it to put mwm in background and then exit with 0 back to console so putting the whole thing in background would that still work ?
