need to configure storage

Hi all,

I have to configure two storages, HP STORAGE SYSTEM 2300 [146X14 HDDs] FOR RP8400 server running with hpux B11.11 and it is having 2 Ultra2 wide LVD/SE SCSI cards.

I am realy new to HPux. plase send me the Steps to install this storage.

Can anybody help me on AMUtil, becoz i think that through AMUTil i can configure the storage.

DS2300 is a "dumb" disk chassis.

You can access and use single disks.


Witch an array controller (HBA) you can use even RAIDs.


The "AMUTil" is a tool for another array, the FC60 - what you don't have.

So you have a RAID4si HBA - if you told this earlier, the advise could be more accurate.
