net-snmp in HP-UX 11.23

Hi,

I'm running ixNet-SNMP A.13.00-5.4.2.1.004
in HP-UX 11.31 without any problem.

However, in 11.23 I dont have access to the process list in HOST-RESOURCES-MIB

hrSWRunPath (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.4.2.1.4)

Does anyone knows the reason?

If I recall correctly the HP distro for net-SNMP supplied on the IExpress was not compiled to include the Host-Resource mibs as HP hides them in a different OID.

Two options.

The IExpress includes the source code, read the install docs and compile with the Host-Res.

or ( same solution )
download the source and re-compile as above.

the hp supplied cpu/mem/disk OIDs are under
.1.3.6.1.4.1.11

Hi,

ixNet-SNMP (A.13.00-5.4.2.1.004) in 11.31 supports HOST-RESOURCES MIB.
(e.g filesystems, process list).

However in 11.23 has bugs:
ID: 1793680 - sourceforge tracker.

e.g. no process list.

How about patch PHSS_39021 OV EMANATE ( IA-64) or newer.

Disregard that.. The patch is for the native HPUX SNMP not net-snmp..
