netstat problem
hi guys,
what seemed to be the problem with my system not being able to give netstat output.
there is no output and the command seems to hang as it does not give me back the shell prompt until control C is pressed.
thanks,
ddr

Re: netstat problem
Hi
Have you made any changes recently ? like installing a new network adapter or changing your hostname etc ? Also please check if the netstat command works with the -n option
# netstat -n
if it doesnt hang then it is a problem with hostname resolution. ( This solution was provided by Ralph in a previous similar question )
Please try all this and let us know
