Hi,
I have file of 3GB in my nfs mount directory.
But i can't even see it(ll) from my node client.
Is there any limitation with nfs regarding file size ?
Thanks

Re: nfs file size limit
Hi there,
By default HPUX 10.20 has only NFS version 2 which supports only 2 GB file over network. However you can overcome this limitation by instaling "Networking ACE for HP-UX 10.20", which enhances the base NFS version 2 to 3. For more detail and the software, refer "http://www.software.hp.com/ACE/index.html".
This update is available for both Server and Workstation. Alternatively you can upgarde to 11.0 which gives you NFSV3 right away.
hope this helps!!!
