Re: npars/vpars

nPars and vPars are both supported on Cell based Integrity servers. [I don't see how the document you cited gives you a different impression given sections like "Reconfiguring an nPartition (Integrity)"]

http://docs.hp.com/en/vse.html#nPartitions%20%28hardware-based%20partitioning%29

is where you want to go (until it migrates to BSC, anyway) for nPartition documentation.

Re: npars/vpars

Shalom,

11.11 is not obsolete. It is a supported OS until December 31, 2013.

HP has moved npar/vpar and HPVM to later, more current OS. I highly recommend the back end OS for either be 11.31, due to its later end of life date and more full throttled support from HP.

Where? This is not true. I'm sure you misunderstood something.

Hope this helps!

You can implement as you implement it on PA-RISC server. Only differnce is if you are using vpar , you need to chage the mode if you want it boot to Npar.

And ofcourse the Npar will boot as an integrity server. You can load HP-UX 11.23 and 11.31 ( popular versions) and linux and windows.
