Re: nwgroup in /etc/group

These names are listed in: Novell Account Management

http://www.novell.com/documentation/nam3/pdfdoc/ps_admin.pdf

And in:

http://ldapwiki.willeke.com/wiki/IDMExcludedUserList

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/aix/tutorials/aix/section4.html

Not sure if these are just common names for the product you're trying to find.  Or part of Novell?

Re: nwgroup in /etc/group

Thanks Dennis.

The /etc/passwd File was copied over from k380 running 10.2 to RP7410 running 11.11 10 years ago.   We are migrating from RP7420 to rx6600 running 11.31 and copied the passwd file from rp7420 and this seems to be causing  UID conflicts wtih another  system UID.

10 years ago we did have a Novel network, so sounds like it will not be an issue removing this from the passwd file.
