I need to remove and update the printer from /etc/hosts file.. can any1 help me in this

Hi,
I'm bit confused with your question.Is your requirement to remove a printer?
I think you can use "lpadmin' along with -x option or SAM to remove the printer.
For network printers, you can just comment the line out from your /etc/hosts file.
Not sure this answers your question though!!
