Hi
I installed a new raid controller which is called DS-KZPCC-UB on DS20E alpha server with five 36.4 GB ULTRA320 SCSI Hard disks.
firstly,I used the following command
{RUN BIOS PZA0} to make two hard disks Raid level 1 and there hard disks Raid level 5 and I successfully done that.
When I started installing tru64 unix v5.1 on two hardisks Raid 1.
It gave me the following error during the installation:-
The installation procedure was not able to correctly install the mandatory software subset the may the result of a corrupted distribution tru64 v5.1.
The error is fatal and causes the instillation procedure to stop.
After clicking OK the x server will terminated after a few moments.
bye
