problem with my server GS80

Hi ALL,
i have problem with my server GS80.
During the hardware test i see this message:
PHASE1-STEP 6.
I think that may hardware is bad.
How to start the system ,and solve the problem?

Does the console have any info on what "Step 6" is?

The PHASE1-STEP 6 message is in LCD,The Console is not work.

Now i think reboot the server ,but its REBOOT button is not work.

There is a message 'PHASE1-STEP 6' in LCD,and its Console is not work!

Wandmmx,
try to disconnect the power chord and reinsert the power chords to the powersupply and then use the front panel to power the server on.

Possible reason may be bad backplane:
from the attached file it can be seen that all CPUs are marked as failed , and also QBB backplane is marked as failed.
Possibility all four CPUs to be bad is small, so it is most probably that the problem is backplane.

So call HP support...

I had some very bad experience with GS80, so before troubleshooting it is good to have not only new backplane on site, but also other components (CPU, PSM, ...)

Hi Wangmx,

the description of your error is the following:

QSD_REV invalid for QSD1

Try to upgrade your system from the SCM console before replacing any part.
