processor count

hi guys, i have a superdome with 3 npars on it, when i do print manifest or ioscan -fnC processor they all show 20 processors and claimed,,, even with sysinfo..
What i would like to know is that how many processor does each npar is accessing out of those 20........??
Can 2 npars share one processor.??

Re: processor count

No. Npars cannot share processors.
"The difference between me and you? I will read the man page." and "Respect the hat." and "You could just do a search on ITRC, you don't need to start a thread on a topic that's been answered 100 times already." Oh, and "What. no points???"

Re: processor count

An ioscan within a npar can only see the CPUs that belong to this npar!

This can be different with vPars!

Use
"parstatus"

to get more info.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
