Dear all
i have a system hp-ux 11.23.
the system is not trusted system.
i created an acount and executed aging as below at 7th Nov last week.
#>passwd -x 4 -m 5 testp
today is 13th Nov.
i was tried to login with telnet using testp account.
as a result, log on the server successfully.
I think, testp account could not log on the server. isn't it?
please let me know?

FYI, if not trusted, the unit of expiration is a week. And on Wed or Thu.

Solution>if I build trusted for my system, are there any problems?
I believe there may be issues if users think they have passwords longer then 8. I.e. before they were truncated after they aren't.
Or issues where all of the passwords are set to expired.
