"top" command on HP Itanium zx6000 HPUX 11i

System: HP Itanium zx6000, HPUX 11i
Command: top
Problems: (1) If resizing the Xwindown during running "top", the contents of "top" become mispositioned and very massy. The lines don't extended or wrap following resizing, but scattered anywhere. What is the problem and how to correct it? (2) When running "top" remotely on another computer via telnet, the "top" flashes very slowly.
I have sent the first problem to HP tech-support for two weeks, but have not received an answer. I just wondered if anybody met this problem before.
