rdist command on tru64

hI ..
I want to use rdist command but it has been showed:

server1[135]# rdist -cv /usr/dma/scripts/*.* 125.234.12.25
updating host 125.234.12.25
125.234.12.25: Unknown host
rdist: Check rdist availability/permissions on 125.234.12.25

server1:local server
server2: remote server

I have reviewed:
local server (server1)
/etc/hosts/ (contains ip address remote server)
/.rhosts : (contains "+")

remote server (server2)
/etc/hosts/ (contains ip address local server)
/.rhosts : (contains "+")

what is missing?

Thanks .

Re: rdist command on tru64

What happens if you specify the remote host
by its name instead of by its address?

Does a simple "rsh" to the remote host work?
