recovery Tru64 cook book
Where can i get the "recovery cook book" for Tru64 5.1a ?
I'm realise a btcreate tape on an activ 5.1a system and i'm trying a recovery on an other system. after few minutes the message "No disk Label" appear and the recovery failed.

How do you want to restore ? Using BTEXTRACT and using >>>b -fl "nc" tapedevice on your new system ?
Could you post the btcreate log and the >>>sh dev result for both yours systems ?

have a look into the Administration Guide Section 10 for more information howto use btextract and btcreate.
Be sure your hardware/software combination is supported (e.g. tape) and the "other" system uses the same hardware as the origin machine (it is not supported to move a system disk to another machine not using the same hardware/setup).
Post the log files or screen dump of the btextract session.
