remote mount advfs file system

I want to mount a remote (advfs) file system, but I get the following error:

hfs009:/u05/orabackup/HREPRD on /u05/orabackup/HREPRD: No such domain, fileset or mount directory

Here are the details:
OS - Tru64 UNIX 5.1b
User - root
Command - # mount -t advfs hfs009:/u05/orabackup/HREPRD /u05/orabackup/HREPRD

permissions:
hfs009 - drwxrwxrwx 2 oracle dba 8192 Jan 16 10:17 HREPRD

hfs007 (host on which the mount is being attempted) - (same)

The hosts.equiv files have entries for the respective servers.

Can anyone assist?

Re: remote mount advfs file system

When you mount remote file systems, it does not matter what is the type of file system for the local server, it will always be shared via NFS, so you must specify NFS as the file system type, for example:

mount -t nfs hfs009:/u05/orabackup/HREPRD /u05/orabackup/HREPRD

For this to work, in the Tru64 server you must have exported via NFS the file system. Use "sysman nfs" to configure NFS.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
