thank you finally i changed the root passwd

Hi,

I hope that you have brought your system in Single user mode. IF not get the system in the single user mode below i have getting u the few details to get the system in the single user mode.

1. reboot
2. Intercept AUTOBOOT by pressing space bar;
3. bo pri isl ; I assume you are booting primary boot path
4. hpux -is ; simple user mode
5. mount -all ; mount all the filesystem once you have mounted the filesystem
6. tsconvert -r ; this removes from the trusted system
7. passwd ; Reset the new password
OR
8. edit cd /tcb/auth/r/ and edit the root file and leave the passwd entry blank

Try to login with the new passwd.
