hi,
I have two systems when i do normal login i am able to login to system. when i login directly as root not able to login. able to login as root from console.
no /etc/securetty file .
suxde060 # ssh suxde061
Password:
Connection closed by 10.55.145.235
abadguja as root@suxde060 [/root/.ssh]

Hi,
In sshd_config, there is a parameter named "PermitRootLogin", just set it to NO and restart your ssh daemon. Then it wont allow root login with ssh.
