root "Account is disabled - see Account Administrator"
I am having System in cluster and the root account is disabled (probably due to lot of attempts for login) and in /etc/passwd it is showing
root::0:3:,,,:/:/sbin/sh (((for root))) in Primary node.
root:1zr9vcjiKgMi.:0:3::/:/sbin/sh ((for root in secondary node))
Problem is that I am able to login in secondary node as root and unable to rlogin without password (Earlier I can rlogin without password)
Other accounts are ruuning as usual too.
Please suggest on the same How to Enable root account.
Thanks is advance....

Re: root "Account is disabled - see Account Administrator"
Login at the console.
That will reset the root password.
If that does not work, reboot the system, intervene at the boot prompt.
bo
hpux -is
Single user boot will let you run the passwd command as root.

Re: root "Account is disabled - see Account Administrator"
Once you log in locally to the server console you'e problem will be solved.
